Prepare the Way of The Lord

John the Baptist heralds the King's arrival with a call to radical repentance.

I. Repentance is the radical leveling of your heart to welcome the absolute reign of Jesus. (v. 1-6)

II. True repentance will bear fruit - it's mot a mere root. (v. 7-10)

III. Jesus transforms us into fruitful trees by the gift of the Holy Spirit(v. 11-12)

-Acts 2:37-41

Questions to consider:

-What fruit can you seee in your own life that shows your repentance is genuine? What can you see in others?

-Are there any rough places in your heart, areas where you have not cleared a path for Him to sanctify you?

-Ask Jesus: "How do you want to reign in me today?"
