Children

Jesus said, "Let the little children come to me..."

Matthew 19:14

We deeply love our children here at Crossway and desire to teach them to:
Fear and love God above all things (Prov. 1:7, Matt 22:37). Respect and obey God's Word (Eph 6:1-3, Joshua 1:8-9). Honor and obey their parents in all things (Eph 6:1-3). Love and serve others (Matt 22:38, Mark 10:45).
Children's Sunday School
Age 5 to Grade 6
We believe that God gives parents the responsibility to train their children in the Scriptures (Deuteronomy 6:1-9), but you are not alone!  We want to have Sunday School teachers come alongside parents to assist them in fulfilling their responsibility.

Generations of Grace is a biblically based, God-centered curriculum that covers the overall message of the Bible in a three year cycle: Genesis through Numbers; Deuteronomy through Daniel; and the life of Christ from the Gospels as well as lessons from Acts and Revelation.  Through aim to help children have a right understanding of God. The teaching is not intended merely to ‘educate' or ‘inform.' We want to help children to know God, love Him, and serve Him.

Nursery
Ages 0 to 4 years
Our well-staffed, secure nursery is available during both Sunday School and Worship services.  Infants have a safe and restful space to snooze or play, and toddlers have room to romp, play with friends, and work on activities.

We also have a nursing mothers’ room accessible through the nursery, with bassinets for babies in do-not-disturb mode!
Children's Church
Ages 3 to 5
We want to encourage families to worship together!  When we sing, pray, and read together, we love having our little ones with us.  We also want to offer them instruction that's at their level (while giving parents the chance to devote their full attention to the word of God as it's preached).

Before the sermon, parents have the option of bringing their kids to the Nursery (0-2) or Children's Church (3-5).  In Children's Church we sing, listen to Bible stories, color, and do seated activities (play dough, blocks, puppets, etc.).  A snack is also provided (please notify staff of any allergies).
If you have questions about any of our children's programs, please email Eric, our Deacon of Children's Ministry.
