Persecution, Purpose, and Promise - Part 1
Jul 13, 2025 • Aaron Russo
Main Idea: Jesus the King sends His messengers into persecution with purpose and with promises.
I. The King's messengers should expect opposition.
II. Persecution serves the Lord's purposes.
III. God promises to equip and to rescue His messengers.
Questions to consider:
How do I feel about being a Christian in America in 2025: comfortable? Fearful? Nostalgic,.....?
Have you ever faced persecution? Have you thought/prayed lately about how you would respond to persecution? How does Jesus promise "what to say" to encourage you?
What does it look like to steward political freedom faithfully and shrewdly without placing our ultimate hope in earthly security?
Pray for your persecuted brethren! https://www.persecution.com/globalprayerguide/
