Main Idea:  Your understanding of the identity of Jesus is the single-most determining factor in your life.

I.       The identity of Jesus divides the world. (13–15)

II.     Recognizing Jesus for who he is marks those who belong to the Father.   (16–17)

III.    Knowing the true identity of Jesus makes solids rocks out of clay people.  (17–18a)
