But God Gives More Grace

Main Idea: God gives lavish grace to his humbly repentant bride, and opposes those who remain in adulterous pride.

Introduction:

1. Willful love for worldly values is adultery against God. (vv 4-5)

2. God gives lavish grace for humble repentance. (v. 6)

3. Humble submission to God results in Him exalting His Beloved. (vv 7-10)

a. Stand against the slanderer and draw close to God

b. Clean your hands and purify your heart.

c. Mourn with Godly sorrow over sin.
