Trust Christ, Our True Help and Hope

Main Idea: Impressive people cannot be relied on for what only God can do. Worship and trust God instead.

1. God blesses those who trust and worship Him alone. (vv. 1-2, 5)

2. Impressive people cannot save themselves, or anyone else, from inevitable death; Only God fully delivers. (vv. 3, 5, 7b-8)

3.Impressive people's plans die with them; Only God carries out his plans completely. (vv. 4, 6-9)

4. Impressive people's power dies with them; Only God reigns forever. (vv. 4, 10)
