EQUIPPING CLASSES
Bill and Aaron are excited to share two options in our Equipping Classes for 2025-2026. Please take a moment to look over the options and sign up for a class. Signing up helps us get a headcount for room assignments, and will also help us to communicate with updates and extras. Both classes start promptly at 8:45 every Sunday.
The Fear of the Lord
In a world that downplays reverence and awe, rediscover this essential, life-giving theme woven throughout Scripture.
A note from Bill:
I hope this note finds you well. I would love to invite you to a special Equipping Class as we gather to explore a profound and deeply spiritual topic: The Fear of the Lord. This series, taught by Michael Reeves, is rooted in his excellent book Rejoice and Tremble which was a personally transformative one for me.
About the Series:
Michael Reeves—a gifted Anglican theologian and author—presents how the fear of the Lord is not a mere feeling of dread, but a holy, reverent awe that rightly orders all our other fears and anxieties.
In this eight-part teaching series, Reeves leads us through diverse and vital themes:

Overview of the Old Testament
Deepen your understanding of the Gospel, God's grace, and humanity's role in His salvation plan.
A note from Aaron:
I have been continually blessed as our study of Matthew has pointed us back, again and again, to the incomparable wisdom and beauty of God's miraculous word in the Old Testament. So I'm excited to be able to spend the next several months exploring the breadth of the Hebrew Scriptures with you!
About the Series:
The Old Testament constitutes over 75% of the Christian Bible and serves as a foundational text, it reveals God's salvation plan through its covenantal structure and Christ-infused themes. It offers insights into humanity, divine wisdom, and the nature of suffering. Understanding this foundation can deepen ones' understanding of the Gospel and God's grace for believers. Our study will be divided according to the arrangement of the Tanakh (Hebrew Bible) as it was in Jesus’ day.
Part 1: Law An introduction to the structure and nature of the Bible, and the foundational first five books known as the Pentateuch or Torah (Law), in which God establishes his covenants with Israel.
Part 2: Prophets History and commentary of God’s covenant people, beginning with the entry into the Promised Land, through the rise and fall of the Kingdom(s) of Israel, and into exile.
Part 3: Writings Life under God’s covenants recorded in poetry, proverb, and story.
Each week includes:
Why Attend?
This class is open to adults and teens. Looking forward to discovering together how the Old Testament leads us to worship Christ more fully!
